Order Processing
Please allow up to 1 or 2 days to process your order. Expect to receive an email within 2 or 3 days to let you know your order is on the way, including real-time tracking information. We take pride in sending out your order ASAP so that you can enjoy your new hat quickly.
Shipping Rates + Delivery Time
We are currently offering free shipping within the lower 48 states in the US on standard orders, so take advantage of this promotion. Normally, when we are not on promo, our standard orders are charged a flat rate of $3.50.
Standard orders typically leave our Portland, Oregon, warehouse within 24 to 48 hours using USPS or UPS with a standard delivery of 3 to 6 business days.
Expedited orders are processed the same day for orders placed before 10 am PT, or the following day if placed after 10 am PT, and typically arrive in 2-3 business days via 2nd Day Air. Pricing will vary depending on destination or carrier.
Protective Packaging
We double-wrap our beautiful products in tissue and butcher paper to ensure your new hats arrive clean and ready to wear.
We also package your hats in sturdy and rigid corrugated cardboard boxes, which protect your hats during transit, preventing them from being crushed or damaged.
Returns and Exchanges
We want you to love your Tailgate Hat. We offer a no-question, no-hassle 60-day return policy with free shipping. If you change your mind, you have 60 calendar days from the date you order an item to return or exchange it. We are so confident in our quality and fit, we offer free shipping on both returns and exchanges.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
In addition to our 60-day, no questions asked return policy, we guarantee the quality and fit of our hats for one full year. That's got to be the best guarantee available.
We’ll send you a return shipping label, along with instructions on how to send your package back to us. Items sent back to us without a prior return request will not be accepted.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We recommend spot cleaning and hand washing your hats. There are too many things that can go wrong in the dishwasher or washing machine.
